The current team consists of:
Ron Overton, Chair of Trustees and acting CEO
Ron founded the charity and at this stage in our development notionally holds the post of CEO and runs the Charity day to day. As the Charity develops he will hand over the Trustee role and formally take up the role of Chief Executive.
Project Co-ordinator, Woodlands Transition Plus “Achieve” Project
Harriet Tamke is our Project Co-ordinator for this exciting project supporting 30 young people with special needs before and after they leave school and face the transition challenges of moving from children’s to adult services and from school life to more independent life in the wider community.
Harriet was previously volunteer officer for Luton Borough Council’s volunteer project. Apart from running the whole project, she knows exactly how best to recruit the 40 young volunteers we need to get the best results for the young people we support. Interested? get in touch.
We have four part-time project assistants who are employed by the charity and seconded from our delivery partner, Woodlands Special School.
We are currently recruiting a Fundraising and Administration officer to work with the CEO and volunteers to leverage funding and support.
This is a shared role among CEO and Trustees, together with our staff and volunteers. As we expand we will be looking to have this sit with a nominated Corporate Fundraising Manager.
We recruit and deploy a wide range of peer and peer plus volunteers – on project, in the office and as fundraisers – and are always looking for new members of the team. Get in touch!!
