Vanessa Leroux, “Attain” Project Manager
Vanessa is our Project Manager for the Attain programme, which supports and change the lives of young people who are Leaving Care. The launch of the Attain Project in October 2018 has given Vanessa the opportunity to make new contacts in the Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire area.
Vanessa’s project is very new, and is just getting off the ground. Before Christmas, she hopes to be working with Young People in Buckinghamshire, and helping them to transition into adulthood and independence from leaving care. If you would like to be involved with the Attain Project, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Michelle Sharpe, “Achieve” Project Manager

The project helps them to face the transition challenges of moving from children’s to adult services and from school life to independence in the wider community.
Michelle has a background of working with young people with special needs, and is a credit to our team, with her knowledge & expertise that she has brought to the project. If you are interested in getting involved with the Achieve Project, please e-mail email@example.com
Katie Hall, Administrator & Achieve Activities Coordinator
Katie works alongside Michelle on the Achieve Project, as well as taking on an administrative role in our main office. She helps Michelle to plan the activities in the Achieve sessions, and is able to implement different types of skills training for the young people into the framework.
The relationships Katie has built with the young people on the Achieve Project has helped her to put a framework into place to cater to each of the young people’s needs.
Radhika Dattani, “Aspire” Project Manager
Radhika is our Project Manager for the Aspire programme, which helps to support and change the lives of young people who are at risk of offending or re-offending. The launch of the Aspire Project has already impacted the young people that Radhika is working with, and is looking to be a success.
The support that Radhika is bringing to these young people’s lives is crucial, and the work she is doing to get the Aspire Project moving from it’s launch has been fantastic. If you would like to be involved with the Aspire Project, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org

As well as our fantastic volunteers, who give up their time to help the organisation and the young people.
This is a shared role among CEO and Trustees, together with our staff and volunteers. As we expand we will be looking to have this sit with a nominated Corporate Fundraising Manager.
We recruit and deploy a wide range of peer and peer plus volunteers – on project, in the office and as fundraisers – and are always looking for new members of the team. Get in touch!

We are still looking to add two or three other highly motivated and committed Trustees to the Board. Please get in touch if you believe that might be you.
Transitions UK is committed to ensure that young people are properly safeguarded and that their welfare and well-being is paramount. All staff, Volunteer and Trustee appointments are subject to a satisfactory DBS check at enhanced level and to rigorous referencing and scrutiny.
Zee Razaq, Charity Treasurer
Zee is a qualified accountant, and runs Certax Accounting, a Harpenden based accounting business. He has been with us only for a few months and is making a fantastic contribution to the charity’s internal accounting and works closely with Ron Overton, our Chief Executive to ensure we have the right information to make good decisions about the Charity’s future development.
Zee is very keen to help support the vision of Transitions UK and is enthusiastic about helping young people in ways that change their lives – and loves the very diverse pool of volunteers as well as beneficiaries that we work with.
Amanda is our most recent Trustee but has been a “founding supporter” of the charity. She runs a learning and development agency called Strive Development, and is passionate about helping young people to fulfil their potential, including through apprenticeship and volunteering.
Her HR background is a great asset to the charity as well as her experience of working with young people.
Having been a supporter of Transitions since it began, she has fundraised with us on a few occasions, including climbing Ben Nevis!
